Editorial Comment - august 99 by: elaine thomas
If a question mark posed itself to me, turning before the mirror
in a suggestion of many angles, then, and only then, would I
undress and be naked, as people tend to be when they are not
clothed, so my reply might be considered to have a period
at the end of it, having left nothing out.
As it is, all the punctuation has been erased. It is problematic
where one sentence ends and the next begins, let alone whether
a question has actually been asked. If the paragraph contains
any answers, they speak in the form of eloquent disguise. They
are nonspecific, and refuse to relate. The mirror is dirty. On
the dust of its surface will all things become clear.
