Submissions must be postmarked by October 15, 1999 to be considered
LYN LIFSHIN the author of more than 100 books and chapbooks, and her
work appears widely in magazines and anthologies. Black Sparrow Press
published her selected poems, Cold Comfort, in 1997. Before It's Light is
forthcoming this autumn, also to be published by Black Sparrow. She has
edited several anthologies of womens writing: Tangled Vines, a collection
of mother and daughter poems, Ariadnes Thread, a collection of womens
diaries, and Lips Unsealed, a collection of womens confidences. She is the
subject of an award-winning documentary film, Not Made of Glass, by Mary
Ann Lynch.
